During my Certification Practicum, I had the opportunity to organize a field trip to Harper Mountain Ski Hill. With the help of my Teacher Mentor, I was able to book a bus, organize appropriate permission slips, and contact parents and the ski hill. I learned that field trips take a lot of work, but in the end, they are a benefit for students to get out of their classroom and into a different environment that they may not be able to interact with.
